Fabric & Care

Small-batch fabrics, chosen for how they move.

SA EDIT pieces are made in limited runs from lightweight, fluid cloth. The aim is the same across the house: a clean line, a considered hand, and enough ease to wear from day into evening. Care is simple if you are gentle.

Light, washable, made for the week

01 · Daily Twill

Light, washable, made for the week

Daily Twill is chosen for drape and all-day comfort. Cool wash on a gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Hang or lay flat to dry. Iron on low, inside out, if the piece needs it.

These are the co-ords you will wear again. Treat them like a favourite shirt, not a museum garment.

A quiet sheen

02 · Marble Shimmer

A quiet sheen

Marble Shimmer has a delicate glow. Dry clean satin-finish abayas, or cool wash in a mesh bag on a gentle cycle if the care label allows. Never wring. Hang in the shade.

The sheen lives in the yarn. Harsh sun and high heat take it away.

Evening cloth

03 · Velvet Silk

Evening cloth

Velvet Silk is for a richer hour of the day. Dry clean. Steam lightly if needed. Store on a padded hanger, in a breathable bag, away from direct sunlight.

Do not press velvet with a hot iron. If a mark appears, let it hang; most creases drop with time.

Hang it. Give it air. Keep it out of the sun.
